I have outlined my love for ペッパピッグ in 日本語 before, and I will say it again. It is a great way to pick up new everyday words and phrases! In this episode, titled おおあらし (thunderstorm), it is a beautiful day and the sun is shining. ペッパ left her beloved teddy outside after George and her were having a picnic. Daddy Pig, unafraid of storms, goes on a rescue mission for the テッデイ... big surprise: he gets caught in the storm! He returns inside, soaking wet, when the ROOF starts leaking from multiple places! In order for the children to not get so scared of the thunder, the かぞく(family) counts between each thunder and lighting. At the end, the storm clears and the family goes outside to stomp in the newly created mud puddles. ペッパ learns she loves storms now because they make puddles! Some new vocabulary that I was able to learn was あらし (thunderstorm)、雨（あめ - rain）、にわ (garden).
Thank you for the recommendation! This is undoubtedly a fun way to learn Japanese!! I guess I will start watching Peppa Pig from now on lmao
