3/27: アングルズ先生のレクチャー

 みなさん、おはようございます！

０３月２６日に、ウエスタンミシガン大学の先生はノートルダム大学に来ました。なまえはジェフリーアングルズ先生です。そした、日本語とえい語を話します！とてもかっこいいですね。レクチャーのトピックは　「The Joy of Living Between Languages」。Jenkins -Nanovicホールでありました。たくさん人がいました！

I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Angles' presentation on his experience with Japanese poetry and learning the language. I love how much he emphasized the importance of studying abroad in a foreign country, not just for language acquisition, but also for a well-rounded cultural education. Dr. Angles inspired me, telling the crowd that fluency or bilingualism is an ongoing process and he still has learning moments, even today. It is amazing to see that through hard work and a love for learning Japanese, it is possible to attain high levels of understanding and that anything is possible! This talk also sparked my interest on Japanese poetry, especially the non-traditional style that Dr. Angles focuses on.
