みなさん、こんにちは!
今日、「Gudetama: An Eggcelent Adventure]のエピソード二を見ました。プログラムは12時間です。
The last episode ended with Gudetama and his chick sibling learning that they were in a sushi restaurant and realizing they needed to escape as soon as possible. Gudetama is caught by a chef and placed on the conveyer belt, where he meets a bunch of roe sushi and たまごやき (fried egg on rice). They have a deep philosophical discussion on the meaning of individuality, which is hilarious. Shakipiyo runs to try to get onto the belt but is caught by another chef, who she mistakes for her "mommy." She is then thrown in the trash. Gudetama got put in ramen, and talked to the boy eating it, which made him cry. A TV producer overhead this exchange, and clearly wants to maliciously capture Gudetama and Shakipiyo. This episode was very strange.
When Gudetama ended up on the sushi-go-round conveyer belt, I thought he was doomed because I know how much sushi people eat at these restaurants (a lot), and figured that he would be picked up very quickly. It also makes sense that the dried-out fried egg sushi was not picked up because he had been on the belt for a long time, and people are choosy and selective with their sushi choices. One of the little boys in the restaurant picked Gudetama and put him on his ramen, which is a common thing to do in Japan (putting a raw egg on noodles).
